One of Uganda’s best known artists was born 1954 in Kampala. He went to school there and grew up in the Kabaka’s palace. Studied Fine Art at the University of Lucknow, India from 1978–1984. He won several prizes. Since his return to Uganda he took part in many exhibitions in and outside Uganda, in Austria, France, Germany, UK, Canada, Australia and the US. For over 20 years he was a full time artist and very well known in Uganda and abroad. His inspirations are scenes and people in the village and he depicts them in his unmistakable bold style in Education:
